David D. Fell

David D. Fell, 86, of Janesville, WI died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at his home. David was born on July 8, 1925 at Oshkosh, WI, the son of Sidney and Emma (Hall) Fell. He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1942. He attended U-W Oshkosh, Oberlin College and graduated from U-W Madison in 1948 with an engineering degree. David served in the Navy from November of 1943 to September of 1945 and was discharged as a aviation cadet. He married Marie Baker on October 14, 1950. He was employed from 1948 to 1951 as an electrical engineer by Offner Electronics in Chicago, IL and from 1951 until retiring in September of 1986 as a design engineer by Gilman Engineering in Janesville.
Surviving are his wife, Marie, four children, Steven (Chris) Fell of Tucson, Arizona, Nancy (Les) Anderson of Three Lakes, WI, James (Kim) Fell of Rockton, IL, Lisa (Kevin) Boynton of Janesville, five grandchildren, Robert (Kimberly) Fell, Andrew (Katie) Matott, Brian Anderson, Emily Anderson, Cory Fell, one brother, Malcolm (Dona) Fell of Las Cruces, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marjorie Davis.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, ECHO or the Rock County Humane Society.
